It has hosted many events like webinars, workshops, competitions, etc.Apart from these some societies conduct some sessions related to their chapters.
With an aim to guide current third-year students (primarily) and other students as well, an interactive session was held on Friday i.e., on 26th of February 2021 from 7-8:30 pm IST via Google meet under IEEE CS Chapter OUCE-Code Garage.
The speakers Viswatej and P. Vijay Kumar shared their interview experiences during the campus placements. It was then followed by a Q & A session in which the participants got the opportunity to interact with the speakers on various queries they had. The speakers answered all kinds of questions, ranging from the preparation strategies to interview questions and the whole interview process.
Whilst live questions were addressed by the speakers, the questions that were posted during the registrations for the event were put forth which were very patiently answered by Viswatej and P. Vijay Kumar. At the end of the session, an assignment containing coding questions was given to the participants, so that they could try their hand at coding.
These questions were cracked down in the follow-up sessions that were conducted by the next day. In the end, the speakers provided various references (in the form of channel links and websites) that students could refer to build the required basics. The session concluded with the advice from the speakers regarding the mindset and preparation strategies one must follow throughout the placement process.
